Sinus Elevation

If a dental implant is required at the upper back jaw, Dr. Kantarovich may suggest a sinus lift. The upper back jaw is one of the most difficult areas to successfully place dental implants because there is insufficient bone as well as the close proximity to the sinus. Sinus elevation can help correct this problem by raising the sinus floor and allowing new bone formation for the placement of the dental implants.

Before

Sinus Elevation Before

After

Sinus Elevation After

Four implants holding a fixed bridge to replace all the missing teeth. Posterior chewing function has been restored. A 12- year result.
